in the wake of what has been a trying week for very many people, i think we all should look ahead to the FUTURE. so i decided to do my annual calendar post a bit earlier this year. there are already so many great 2017 calendars out there!

i have never been the type of person to plan my life, so i find calendars far more pretty to look at than actually useful. but what i would love is some kind of food planning calendar. i really struggle with deciding what to make for dinner every single night, and if i had a calendar that told me – make some spaghetti today! or, try your hand at a mushroom risotto! that would be awesome. basically i just want a calendar that can organise my domestic life for me, is that too much to ask?

if i have missed any great new calendars, or perhaps you’re a designer that’s just released your own, please leave a link in the comments.

  1. Oh my gosh what a coincidence! I was just thinking about calendars the other day and how much I really loved the MMXV by Chelsy Dyer piece you featured in your 2019 post and had to search for it on your website to purchase for 2017…and then this post gets published!

Love the round up, as per usual. You’ve just made it easier for me to find the Chelsy piece too. ;)

  2. SO – in terms of a calendar for what to eat… i recently discovered the meal planning app Mealime and it is FANTASTIC. Me and my husband have been grocery shopping and planning our dinners with it for about a month now and have not come across a bad recipe! haha ive been telling everyone about it and cannot recommend it enough!

  3. Love the Stendig…it would help me to remember what day of the week it is!!! Stunning calendars, all of them x

What a delightful & inspiring selection, thank you!

  5. Seriously looking for a large wall calendar that has place for planning! In South Africa I could only find one from Clip Clop,
    Any other suggestions?

i would buy a printable one and get it printed locally. eg:

  6. I SO agree about wishing there was a calendar like that for domestic/food chores haha. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one! Of course, these are all so beautiful.

  7. I have a 10 month old and a just-turned-two year old — meal planning is a daily chore, and I still can’t seem to get into any kind of routine. Your “just tell me what to make” calendar would be on my wall!

But since we can’t have that, I’ll take the Gradient calendar. It’s gorgeous!

Thank you for such a great selection. I’m bookmarking this for holiday shopping. :)

  8. So many fun ones… Like the Frankie and greenhouse one a lot! I always want to get a Stendig but never do. Maybe the large dates are too intimidating, ha. I actually just bought this rock illustration one by a watercolor artist in California:

I love all of these! My problem is that I want ALL OF THE CALENDERS! I am also not a great planner but somehow convince myself every year that getting a great calender or diary will turn me into one :)

  10. In a matter of fact I did just release a Dogs Calendar 2017! It was illustrated by 12 kind and talented ladies illustrators and all of the profit will go to an animal shelter Lese in Lithuania.

    You can see it here:

  11. Love the round up, as per usual. You’ve just made it easier for me to find the Chelsy piece too.
